Camp Swann Lake & Lodge is the thoughtful reinvention of an abandoned children’s summer camp into a joyful, design-forward glamping destination. The vision was to preserve the nostalgic spirit of camp while elevating the experience into a luxurious recreational retreat, a place where guests could enjoy the charm of the outdoors with the comfort, personality, and delight of a boutique stay.
The objective was to transform the property into a distinctive glamping destination that felt immersive, expressive, and welcoming, offering guests a fresh experience with every visit while celebrating creativity, color, and the charm of camp life.
Ten quirky cabins are nestled among the trees, each designed with its own distinct theme, from Dolly Parton and Palm Springs to Americana, Swans, and Wilderness Glam. The interiors were curated using a layered mix of new, antique, and thrifted pieces, allowing each cabin to feel collected, personal, and full of character. Colorful hand-painted murals appear throughout the property, including the iconic water tower and newly renovated pink pickleball courts, reinforcing a sense of whimsy and discovery. Together, the cabins and shared spaces create a vibrant, cohesive retreat that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.
